We had a Beloit College Alumni meetup in Portland, OR on Saturday April 20th. Hosts Cameron Dieter ('16) and Jim Long ('72) generously allowed to do a reading of college-related scenes from my new novel, ALLEY POND PARK. I would like to thank everyone who purchased a book, the proceeds of which will go to Beloit College.

ALLEY POND PARK published today and now available.
"From his socially awkward arrival at Wisconsin's Beloit College in 1969 to...his ascendance during the 1980's avarice of Wall street...this is an epic tale of a flawed, loving, confused man who persists in finding his way in a very difficult world..." Susan Kasten, Editor Emerita, Beloit College Magazine

David, happy belated birthday. We celebrated Wendy's yesterday (2/17).
Hi Warren. Happy almost birthday on the 13th! You'll beat me turning 72 by one day.
Chris, hope you had a great birthday. You look great, just a tad older than I remember!
Hi Tom, thanks for sending me that note. Next time you're visiting Portland don't just look us up on Google maps. Give us a call and come visit! We've got a big guest suite and it's been used by many Beloiters over the years. Sorry Wendy and I were unable to attend the 50th, but we were in Iceland for a month. Like your wife Ann, Wendy was also class of '76, although she wound up graduating from Simmons College in Boston.
