I knew Jake through college and beyond.  We used to weight lift together, go to the Harbor Inn in the flats together to drink imported dark beer, and go to Beyers farm/pond on Main Street together.  After college Jake and I found federal jobs in outside of Cleveland so we lost touch with each other.  I always found Jake to have a positive influence on others.  He had a good sense of humor and was a hard worker.  I was hoping to see him at the class of 78 30 something reunion.  I feel great sadness that I will never see him again.
