What's New
What a wonderful obituary! I was lucky enough to know Anne in high school, as we were on the diving team together. I didn't know about her upbrining then, but now I know why we both "clicked" and lived by the adage, "It's easier to ask foregiveness than permission."
She will be missed.
I hate getting these in memory emails. Afraid to open them to see who we lost.
This is really sad. 61 is too young. Dam Covid strikes again.
Always had a crush on Brenda in high school and even got up the nerve to ask her out but she politley said no.
RIP Brenda and condolences to the family.
It always hits hard to see a classmate has passed, knew them well or not. Brad was among the best of us. A classy, calm, genuine guy. First met in 7th grade band. Last time I saw him was so long ago, but remember it very well. Ran into him somewhere, and a friend of mine and I dragged him along with us to shoot pool at the Blue Dolphin in Columbia Twp or Olmsted wherever it was. I know he wasn't comfortable with being there, how much we were drinking. But he enjoyed the pool and we talked probably til the place closed. He was the same. Just a good man. I have no doubt he made a huge difference in the lives of many.
Hey Scott! Hope to see you at the reunion!! I have had a very ruff year as my husband passed away last June! Please come and bring the old gang with you!! All the Best Barbara
I lived a few blocks from S&Ms and Farris and I were friends in kindergarten and the first few grades at Fairwood. I remember, during the Six Day War in 1967, he and I joking about being an Arab and a Jew and friends. We used to play in his room above the store. We fell out of touch in later years, but I always thought fondly on him, and his parents. So long ago now...
