LINDA S. WILLIS (nee Foutz), age 50, of The Villages, FL,
passed away April 22, 2010.
Beloved wife of Michael;
stepmother of Michael (Samantha), Erik (Virginia), and Shawn; grandmother of Leah and Layla;
daughter of the late Richard E. and Mary Anne Foutz;
sister of Jean Marie Foutz, Barbara Schroeder (Dennis), Richard Jr. (deceased), and Mary Ellen (deceased).
Linda will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

THE VILLAGES — Linda S. Willis, 50, died Thursday, April 22, 2010.
Mrs. Willis was born in Grafton, Ohio, and moved to The Villages from Louisville, Ky., in 2009. She was a Catholic; had worked as a customer service representative for the Louisville Slugger baseball bat company in Louisville, Ky.; was a Cleveland Indians fan; and she enjoyed sports, bingo, taking cruises and craft shows.
Survivors include her husband, Michael L,; stepsons Michael G., Erik A. and Shawn G., all of New London, Ohio; sisters Barbara Schroeder, Parma Heights, Ohio, Jean Foutz, Cleveland, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations in her honor may be made to National Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation, 3122 Happy Hill Lane, Mechanicsville, VA 32111.
All Faiths Cremation Society, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.

Linda had rheumatoid arthritis which totally crippled her hands, her feet, plus other joints. It was so aggressive it also attacked her lungs. She was turned down at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville FL to get put on the lung transplant list earlier this year. She was on 100% oxygen since the beginning of April. She was put in hospice on April 22 and died.
Even though she suffered so much with this painful and horrible disease, she never complained. She will be missed so much by those who knew and loved her.

Linda was a very good dancer. She and I won a dance contest together at Roehm in 7th grade. She taught me a few moves and before we knew it we won.
It is so sad to see that she has passed away so young. I wish her family all the best.

I knew Linda because we went all through school together. Her name followed mine. I was saddened to hear of her disability. Must have been tough for her and her family. I remember seeing her. We didn't talk much, but we knew each other. She was a sweet girl. I remember she was quiet and kind. Bless you Linda.
