Elizabeth A. "Betsy" (Pierce) Mambuca, 41, of Berea, Ohio, an administrative assistant with Value Added Benefits in Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2001. Calling hours are scheduled for Sunday, November 18, 2001, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Baker Funeral Home, 206 Front Street, Berea. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 19, at United Methodist Church of Berea, 170 Seminary Street, Berea. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, North Olmsted, Ohio. Memorial donations are appreciated to United Methodist Church of Berea Memorial Fund, 170 Seminary Street, Berea, OH 44017. Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home, Inc., Berea, Ohio.

Betsy died on November 14, 2001.

She had Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vascular type).

Betsy has 4 children:

Justin, 26 and his wife, Dana and their daughter London Elizabeth, born on Valentines Day 2008;

Jillian, 21; Joe, 24; and Jesse, 13.

How sad to read this. I remember meeting Betsy in elementary school, and hearing all about her ice rink parties. Skate on Betsy...

Sorry to learn of Betsy's passing.  I lived just down the street from Betsy.  She was constantly entertaining and had a lot going on at her house.  I "think" they had one of the few heated pools.  At that time it was RARE.  Betsy always invited me and my sister Kathy over for a swim.  She was a real socialite back in the day and was very generous with her time.  She was a very sweet girl.

I knew Betsy for a little while in junior high school. We use to hang out a lot. I remember some fun parties. She was so beautiful and sweet. She would hang with Paula and Linda. We drifted apart in late HS, but we were important memories to each other. Stay sweet Betsy. You are beautiful. You were loved and are missed.
