Graduated from Illinois Wesleyan U. in 1992 with a BA in Math and a minor in Spanish
Graduated from Illinois State U. with a MS in math
Graduated from U. of Ill. at Chicago with a MA in Slavic Studies (Russian Language/Linguistics)
Went to Poland for the first time in July 1997.
Went to Poland again to study for the 1998-1999 as a start of a PhD program in Slavic Linguistics and traveled all around Eastern Europe and to Germany.
Went to Poland again in March 2000.
Got a job teaching math and then Spanish in Chicago Public Schools in Jan 2003 (one can't go to school FOREVER, as tempting that may sound)
Converted to Orthodox Christianity in April 2003.
Went to Germany again for a friend's wedding in Sept. 2004.
Came out of the closet in May 2005 (ok - so all of you were right - but I really didn't know it at the time)
Converted to Orthodox Christianity in April 2003
Went to Iceland for the first time in August 2007 and again in August 2008

I'm just glad it's f***ing over.
