Sadly, Kristine passed away in December 2010 after a three year battle with cancer. As her husband of 44 years, I know Kris would have loved to see her classmates again and wish them all well so please do so on her behalf if possible. She has left behind two daughters, two grandsons and many, many friends here in Annapolis - her home for the last 30 years of her life.

I believe I knew Kristine starting in 8th or 9th grade. After high school I remember talking to her at some length a few times when we were both at the Univ. of MD. Back in ninth grade she was kind enought to give me cough drops when I was coughing a lot after we both sat down in the church pews at our confirmation. I wasn't smart enough to think about bringing cough drops. She was a pleasant and kind person. Bill Shoemaker
