What did you do after graduation:
I went to Miami Of Ohio and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education. I came back to Michigan and began teaching at Detroit Country Day Middle School for about 2 years. After Mrs. Benford retired at Seaholm, I was hired as a Ceramics/Art teacher in the High School. I taught at Seaholm for about 3 years and coached the J.V. Women's Lacrosse team. It was a fabulous experience! I married my husband, Jon, in October of 2000. In February of 2001, I had to stop working due to a chronic illness (which 7 years later was finally diagnosed as Lyme's disease). Five years later, I had my daughter Phoebe, which was a total blessing. Now I spend my days trying to keep up with my now 4 year old daughter and continue treatment for the Lyme's. It's been a long and crazy ride but my health is slowly starting to improve! Once it does, I'd like to add one more addition to our family of 3! Until then, I continue to love, laugh, and not take life so seriously!!
