What did you do after graduation:
I moved to Maryland for college, attended Montgomery College and the University of Maryland. I intended to go to law school but ended up working in retail and was offered the opportunity to move to California to be a buyers assitant and district sales trainer. I moved to Cali for almost 3 years. After a while, I hated retail! I came back to Michigan for a while, started working in the bar business and went back to school briefly. Very briefly! I moved to Florida for a bit and was a marketing director for a Real Estate company in Palm Beach. Cool job but I hated Florida! I came back to Michigan and worked in sales for a number of years, bartending on the side for fun and extra cash. Worked in advertising for a while. I left sales finally in 2003.
I met and married Matthew in 2004 (after a brief first marriage to Leo Cortese) and started a family of my own. We have a one year old daughter and Matt has 2 kids from his first marriage. Matt is a Ceramist, (he makes teeth). He is brilliant at what he does. I work only part time now, 3 days a week bartending which allows me the freedom to keep my daughter out of day care. My main occupation is Motherhood these days. We hope to open our own dental lab within the next 5 years. Matt will make teeth and I will be his sales rep/office manager/marketing director!
