Thank goodness we only go through high school once in our lives. It is an interesting time when we are expected to be adults, and yet have no clue how to do so. Groves Class of 1979 was as interesting a collection of human beings that was ever assembled anywhere. Some 35 years later, I am glad to have it in the rear view mirror ... but not so far enough so that I can still remember the lessons.

I remember trying to stay busy, fit in and stay out of trouble. I was fortunate to be a part of many championships as an athletic trainer, great performances by my musician and theater friends and happy to hang out with everyone.
