This picture was on Facebook this morning and the person who put it on there wasn't sure where it was located but noted the sidewalk with the circles popping out. I have no idea where it was, do any of you recognize it?

Larry Shoup, I was going through some old pictures this morning and I think solved the mystery of the sidewalk. If you look closely at this picture you'll see the same pattern as was on the other one and it was the sidewalk in front of Klemms.

Bob Kraft put this on Facebook today about Rich and Linda Green LaRochelle's dad, Benoni Green which I thought was a nice tribute to him.

Benoni Green. He was a great person and BHS grad. Died December 17, 2016. His story deserves to be remembered. Salute!

BHS 1936. I knew him and he helped me in tennis as a teenager in the 1970s. I only read recently that he was in WW2, Army Air and bailed out from a destroyed bomber plane separately twice over enemy land and survived. He never said a word about that.

One of Illinois State's best tennis players, and a person who has contributed greatly to the sport through the Bloomington-Normal Tennis Association for many years ... won conference singles titles in 1938 and 1939 when the Redbirds also won team championships ... captained the Redbirds during his sophomore season ... he later became credit manager for Beich Candies in Bloomington after serving in World War II ... helped with the Bloomington Parks and Recreation programs and with Evergreen Racquet Club junior development programs upon his return to the Twin Cities ... in March 1997, the Benoni Green Men's Tennis Endowment was established to benefit the men's tennis program at Illinois State.

Hi BHS Class of 1962 Reunion members!

At our last reunion, I mentioned i would see if i could remaster my DVR copy of our 40th reunion. I was able to do that!

I would like to make a CD copy of that reunion availabe to any of you for the cost plus shipping and mailing if you would like to get one. I realize that many no longer can use the VHS format.

Now I just need any interested members in updating their version or those who never got that reunion and now may want it to let me know so I can get one to them.

Cost so far is cost of CD ($11-13) plus shipping, processing and mailing. Depending on how many want one I may be able to get a better price.

It was great to see so many at our 60th. Let me know how many would like one wether you were able to attend our 60th and I'll try to get yours for this Christmas
