I saw this on another website today and this has always fascinated me, do you remember this on the National Bank Building? It was on the backside and I always wondered what the purpose of it was. This is a picture of the back of the bank. If you look towards the top you'll see this blob sticking out.
This picture is the "blob", it looks like some kind of mask but no one seems to know anything about it.
Remember the phone Company Building which was located on Market Street, which is still there although I'm not sure what's in it. I remember going with my Mom when she paid the phone bill.
How about the lunch counter in Walgreens, ever have a Cherry Coke there or stand inside the door and wait for the bus?
Here's a picture of the outside of the Lucca Grill which really hasn't changed much in the 80 some years they've been doing business.
And, here is the inside of Lucca Grill and I swear it hasn't changed in many, many years. We ate there the other night and I looked up this drapery thing and I'd be willing to bet it's been there forever, that being said, the pizza was outstanding!the
