Jerry and John, I also love to hear our national anthem and watch our flag blowing in the breeze. I hope and pray that someday younger people learn to love and respect them.

We're in. We can have it here or where ever you want. Throw a couple of dates out, vote on them and it's done. We can have a potluck or cater it. (I think a potluck would be the easiest.) I'm all for the easy and casual but it's up to you all. We're planning on a trip to Florida in the fall but we're flexible on that too. The ball's in your court!

I just received notice that Ann Crump passed away yesterday morning. I just talked with her husband, Ronald, and he said she had a blood clot in her lungs, they did surgery to break up the clot and it just spread further and killed her. I just talked with her 3 days ago and she was great.

I'm sure funeral info will be in the Pantagraph soon. If I find out anything, I'll let you know. So very sad, I'll miss her. Keep her family in your prayers. Donna

speaking for me i have lost a very dear friend and the class is getting smaller ..tony we were

talking about you and what you said about her when she would hit the ball out of the school

Happy Birthday to all of us July/August Summer babies!!! Yea, we are looking at another great year (I hope) of happiness and good health. The days are longer in Summer and I thank God for every day and every minute that he graces us with those extra hours of sunshine.

Good Morning to all of you, I hope this day finds you well and happy.

We in Tucson are still waiting for the rain. Yesterday the rain by-passed us somehow and drenched the towns closer to Vegas. Our humidity levels are really high so we know the rain is coming.

I see that the mid west is soaked and still it's raining there. Have the farmers been able to plant at all?

Jerry, there's about 10 classmates who check in on a regular basis.  I usally check in every day but have missed a few here lately.  We are closing in on 30000 sign-ins (29597).  When I post someones passing seems to be when classmates check in.

I'm at the Lake of the Ozarks at this time and our weather is hot and humid, temp is 91 heat index is 103.  A little too hot for boating or much of anything else except for a Margarita or two.

Good to see notes from Joe and Steve, I hope your weather dries up soon. We could sure use the moisture. Cloud cover has kept the temps down under 100 but still very warm. Mostly 100 and above the rest of the week.

The temps are finally cooling off in AZ at least they are under the 100 mark.

Went to San Deigo and San Francisco in June, the weather was perfect. We even needed jackets. Just returned from Denver after attending The Taste of Colorado over the Labor Day weekend. Food, music and fun. It was a good time. Took the cog railroad to the top of Pike's Peak.....the air was too thin for me. They sell canned oxygen at the gift shop BUT they were sold out.
