Oh please, I beg of all of you - please do not enter write in's on your ballots!

I'm an election judge and it's a royal pain in the ass to count write-ins (although they have finally allowed us to ignore Mickey Mouse!).

John A. Gorski

Even if we vote for Craig Wiklund??
Look at the job he did with the reunion..........I didn't hear a single complaint

Sounds qualified to me

John,

I'll give you that one - Craig Wiklund would be worth having to stay late and count votes for.

OMG -- i decided to start from the beginning and start reading from August. How did i miss so much? Both in keeping up with the notes and the times in school? So many things i could comment on from the school laision we had at portland that either Dale or Lorie got down behind and the other walked at him as he back up till he fell over the one on the ground -- thought we were all going to get suspended for that one -- lorie and me getting kicked out of guy class for 'rough checking' in broom ball and hanging out by the guys work out room for the rest of the semester.

and the 'dark basement' parties.

all the pool parties at Kathy Longs with Bob, Janice, Dean, and the list goes on ...

kathy and i always seemed to find twins to date but we never met them together, just happened - (wierd)

Then Lorie posted the ticket from studio 97 -- good call i remember my dad taking us, shirley tesch and her then boyfriend in about 8th grade to see "Billy Jack". i will never forget it because i was not supposto have a boyfriend - but that did not stop me and Brian Randolph til the day he moved to Texas. -- flash backs WOW. My dad never did tell my mom!

then jeff braught up NANDO's wow -- flash from the past!

I hung with a group for a while that would party on the 4th hole of the country club -- till too many got busted
did not know i could run so fast!

or the river bottoms under the 35 bridge -got stuck with my 69 Comaro and dale came to help out- (thank got for CBs back then - no cell fons yet) TIME WARP!!! got my first speeding ticket.Dale stopped to pick up someone hitchhiking and i flew past him. Mom found that after she got an annonymous call from someone about my behavior on the band trip with some senior (Flatten) -- i can still hear her screaming ...

look how lucky most of us were to have so much fun, rarely getting caught and can recall enough to share.

I know some that dont recall much from 7th - 12th -- that is too bad because we had some great times then. Stuff that if i had caught my kids, now grand kids doing i'd kick their butts!

i am going to go finish what i missed --

Great laughs guys! It brings back fun times - something most of us forget how to do with the busy lives we have now. we forget to stop - have fun and laugh.

30 years! Really??? Where did time go?

As busy as we are in life with jobs, kids, grandkids – it is a must to stop and reflect sometimes.

Remember where you’ve been and how you got where you are today. What and who influenced your decision.

Several of us were lucky enough to do just that this with a very special Mentor and Friend, TOM PECK and his wife on Sunday November 2nd .

Thanks to Steve and Claudia Mahon, Vickie Nelson and others, we were able to enjoy fun and memories together.

Steve and Claudia a special thanks for opening your beautiful home to us for this wonderful occasion.

We all have out own reasons and memories why Mr. Peck is held so dearly in our hearts. I can bet that most of us can agree on a few of these reasons. His uncanny sense of humor, his caring heart – but most of all his love of “TIE A YELLOW RIBBON”. And now we can add his unbelievable memory!

It was a humbling time for some of us when Tom pulled out the old sheet music then said “LOOK AT THE KEY” (NO Terry it was not a cent sign!!) Lucky for me (and all involved) they ran out of clairnets’! Thank-you John for being the perfect first chair. And you did not even have to challenge Claudia this time! Bruce, don’t remember lessons?? We could not tell!

Its funny, some of us have not seen each other since high school but we are not strangers. We share common bonds that pull us back together. A great friend, music and brick oven pizza (Yummy).

Thank you Mr. Peck for being our Teacher, our Mentor, and most of all, our Friend.
You helped us all make and keep a lifelong bond that will be forever in our hearts.
Some of the key parts of life, FRIENDSHIP, MUSIC and MEMORIES. Thank you for being a large part of our lives.

We have to thank Craig Wicklund and Wade Boelter and everyone involved for all their work on the reunion and web-sight that sparked the flame of reunion.

Pictures will follow on my profile. I was not the only one with a camera, so please, don’t let me be the only one to post (Claudia!)

Thank God for friends, good times and great memories!

Hello every one. I left Canada a week ago, everything I owned and 2 cats in a u-haul truck. I left my husband and my whole life behind....I made it to San Diego, ca..., I am so blessed. I am a cancer survivor and a warrior...god bless

I can't believe my last 24 hours.... I blew my knee out last night and was assisted by 2 marines who called 911., who just returned from Iraq. I ended up in an ambulance (my first time as a patient), otherwise as a St. Paul Police Officer on duty..., and was transported to Sharp Hospital emergency room, where I could not give any insurance info., as I did not want my husband to find me....I did not even give anyone as an emergency contact....

I got a taxi home from the hospital, as I was given Demoral and told that I could not drive myself....

Geez, anyway, I arrived home this a.m., and went to sleep, and when I awoke around 10:30 a.m., I had to go and get my car and then find a pharmisist to get the Demoral Prescription....I have an MRI scheduled tomorrow at 2:45 p.m., in LA Jolla, CA., only 10 minutes from where I am in San Diego.

I know that I will need surgery and that is o.k., I am alive and well in San Diego, CA....

My son Kirk is coming to San Diego on Fri. night, I have not seen him since this past summer when I said goodbye to him as he drove from Alberta to Brainerd Mn., where he went to live with his father and is now attending University....I am so blessed....I am still a warrior....God Bless....Colleen

Hi Colleen, I remember you & I am so happy to hear that you have survived cancer (I have several family members & dear friends that are survivors, too) I'm relieved that you escaped a relationship that sounds like it wasn't safe. I'm glad that your son will be coming out to see you. I hope that your knee surgery will go well. I will continue to think of you & pray for you as you begin a new life for yourself. I admire your courage. Take Care! Terri

Colleen you are amazing to both survive cancer and find your freedom from an abusive relationship. That takes a lot of courage. You should enjoy San Diego, I know I did the year I lived there (Imperial Beach) right after college. I too will be praying for you. Take care and stay strong.
