HEY Eagles -- SPRING is here.

Lets think of our next get together. I have heard of a gulf course that does MIDNIGHT GULF. Okay - I am NO gulfer, but have heard this is a blast!! It does not matter if your Tiger Woods, if you cant see the tee - you cant hit it. Its all for fun. We need a group of around 20. If any are interested, let me know and I will look into it. I prefer it be a bit warmer than 35 at midnight so lets look at June or July or even August -- shoot me a note and I will dig for specifics, cost, location (hard hats) Ha! Ha! ...

you can reach me at www.theeaglenest@comcast.net

I have heard rumor of a 50th birthday bash in the year 2010 for all of us and would really like to see this happen. Anyone want to plan it with me? Let me know.

I'm wondering if anyone out there is interested in buying 3 tickets (face value) for Keith Urban at the Excel on May 14th?

My whole family (yes all 9 Pate siblings in the Twin Cities - I apologize in advance) is ending up in town and several are coming in that night.

Let me know if you are interested.

. . . just read an article that stated a main contributor to staying happy is to maintain connections with the past - something we've known all along. Thanks y'all for keeping me happy and sane!!

We must always have old memories and young hopes.

Fits pretty good would you not say?

HEY there --

Has anyone been thinking of our big 50th BASH???

If anyone has thought of what, when, where contact myself or Carol Rickard Schultz off the main page. We are still trying to lock into a location then time and go from there. We are also attempting to keep it as simple as possible. Maybe a Friday evening gathering and/or a Saturday outing or something at somewhere like bush lake with a POT LUCK set up. All input and offers to help welcome.

Looking forward to getting together soon too.

How about that mention of MIDNIGHT GOLF?? apparently properly called GLOW GOLF!!

Steve Helman --HAPPY 50!!!!

And speaking of birthdays...
I have to share what a great time was had celebrating OMJ's (Old Man Johnson's) 50th, yes 50th birthday, on Tuesday. Five tee times were filled up at the Chaska Town Course with 20 of the ole Kennedy boys! In attendance from '78 were Dave Johnson of course, Wade Boelter, Mike McArdle, Tom Pederson, Pete Bjerke, Kent Hrbek, Todd Dressen, Mark Lassonde, Joe Scanlon, Jim Koehnen, John Amato, Bill Sorenson, Ted Blasko, Dan Lind, brothers and Kennedy grads Phil, Brian, and Ricky, and '79 grads Tim Brolsma and Rick Haagenson and oh, '76? grad Mike Lind. Great group, lots of fun, and a ton of laughs. Days like that are good for the soul...and bad for brain cells.
Thanks Dave, and Happy 50th!
You've reached the pinnacle with gusto and panache, now descend slowly with all that infinite wisdom and charm...
Live long buddy!!
Thanks for not making fun of my golf swing....

To All,

Just a heads up, the Bloomington fireman's softball tourny is coming up July 17th, 18th, and 19th. It's usually quite a reunion for all grades. Fri and Sat are the best and alot of folks go to the Eagles club (old country club market/ Jay's pizza location if you didn't know)afterwards. Hope to see you all there!!!!!

Steve

Definitely think Majors should be another outing in June! Yeah Pete, Betty and I could have yelled "In the Hole!" Sounds like a great group for Johnson's b-day.

Steve Everhart! Fireman's tourney would be a blast! See you there for sure!

I believe that the Class of 1979 is trying to get some sort of reunion going the Saturday of Fireman's at Eagles. Nothing formal, get the word out and whoever shows.

Plan B and C--
It wasn't like a meeting of the Hee-man Women Haters Club or something....just a bunch of buddies getting together for Spanky's birthday, golf, and a few beers. Although, if you were half as hot as Miss Crabtree, you quite possibly may have made that "illustrious" invite list you speak of.
Make a Fireman's plan, people undoubtedly will show.
See you soon.

S.E.M.P.P. - Aren't you the social director of this 78 bunch??? ...though somehow you missed out on the first 50th BD party of the group, aka HMWH Club. LOL. Just kidding Pete. Sounds like you all had a great time. :-)

Sue, throw a date out there for Major's! It's June!
