I knew I should have started riding a motorcycle. Sounds like a beautiful run. I'm afraid my little "get around town" scooter isn't able to run with the big dogs.

Maybe I should have organized a "junior" run for all the biker wannabees and just do a tour  of Bloomington

Also, Happy birthday Steve Helman

Hey Rod!  Will ya'll be meeting up when you get back to Bloomington somewhere?  I'm only in town through Sunday so I'd like to do more than just the Friday night get together if possible :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Steve!

Sadly - the only bike I have runs on pedals.   Doesn't mean I can't do a long ride, but it would take a week.

I have penciled in my plans to be there for the bash.  I let my work know I would be gone that week.  Hopefully, no more satellites go Zombie on me .

Subject: Reunion - Kennedy Alumni of 76/77/78 (family and friends)
Date: Tue, 25 May 2010 09:58:59 -0500

Hello everyone!  Please feel free to pass this email on to anyone that may be interested.

We are planning a get-together of any Kennedy alumni interested in a pseudo reunion.  The event is scheduled for June 11th.  Many of our mutual friends that have relocated to other states will be in town that week.  Because time is a precious commodity, we hope that this venue will work for a whole bunch of you.  It will be fun to see old friends and acquaintences and catch up on what's been doin' for everyone.

We have chosen to have the event at the good old "SportsPage."  Many of us have fond memories of their sponsorship of our sports teams...and other events.  For those of you that haven't been there in a while, it has been totally remodeled and expanded.  It is by no means "classy" but its comfy and serves good burgers and beer (plus a full bar now too!)  There is a new party room that has been reserved for our use.

Date:  June 11th, 2010
Time: 6:00 to close
Location:  Sportspage Bar and Grill - 9014 Lyndale Ave. So, Bloomington, MN 952-887-0046

Let's reconnect and have some fun!

Hello all,

The band I am playing in is going to be in downtown St. Paul this Saturday night at The Wild Tymes if anyone wants to rock the night away. It is just a few blocks from the Xcel and a block from Rice Park. So come over after the bike rally!

Parking is free on the streets after 4:30 and there is NO COVER CHARGE and cheap drinks.
There are four bands playing, we are on around 10:45.
You get four bands for the price of... NONE.

Address is 33 West 7th Place, St Paul

Thanks,

Scott

Scott,

Are  you guys traveling outside of the tri-state area?  Would enjoy the opportunity to see/hear the band but will not be in MN until summer or fall of 2011.  San Diego is a great place to visit and there are about a dozen of us fairly close.

Chuck

Hi Chuck,

We are not travelling, we pretty much just started playing, hoping for some summer festival gigs. It's a little harder being an all original band but I don't miss playing "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Gimme Three Steps" or others that every bar band plays.

I love San Diego, used to live in Simi Valley and travelled there a few times. I'd love to golf there again too!

Scott,

Just thought I would check to see if the band headed this way.  If you come down to the San Diego area in the next year, let me know and we can go chase the little white ball around. Actually if anyone comes out, I would enjoy hitting the links. (For me it works out to be a nature hike because I have to chase my ball through the woods).

Chuck
