As always thanks for being the leader on this stuff-- I sure know where to look if I ever get back in town! Would love to meet up with fols when I do-- I will keep you posted.
We are now settled in our new home in Medina, Ohio. We are really loving it here. The only bummer is that we havnt sold our house in Texas yet, and that is quickly becoming a big burden-- so if all of you pray that it sells, I can always use the help! Now we will get prepared for the winter, but for now I am LOVING the cooler and wetter weather. We have such a horrible drought situation still going on in my old neighborhood, it is unbearable for my friends there. Not good for our house either.
Last month I got my son settled in his new college home at UNE in Maine. I was stuck for for about 4-5 days though, as his move in was right before the big hurrican headed up the coast and clobbered NYC / NJ. Actually, I was happy it went in land south of him, it would have been so disastrous for the college had it come on shore there.
Now that my daughter in is the local marching band-- we head to the games to watch the band play, as well as the games-- but I have such an appreciation for those band members. I guess I didnt stop enough when I was in high school and tell them how much we appreciate them. So for all you graduates that were in the JFK Band-- sorry I didnt say it enough then-- but you all were AWESOME! I dont think they could ever get the pep & zest without the marching bands!! I now see how hard these kids work at what they do, and my eyes have been opened!! Every marcher needs an award for that dedication!! So thanks for those of you who completed our 1978 year with your marching & playing talents!!
