Just thought I would let people know that I'm making Pizzaburgers tonight.

Seems like a good day for it.

Besides, there hasn't been anything on here for a while and the mention of Pizzaburgers usually gets things rolling again

I guess while I have your attention, I would like to throw out an invitation to all of those in the twin cities area.

My brother and I belong to, and are officers (I use that term loosely) at a Laurel and Hardy appreciation club called "Sons of the Desert" We meet on the 3rd monday of each month (we take July, August and September off ) at the Eagles Club on Old Shakopee and Old Cedar in Bloomington for cocktails, dinner, more cocktails, a few Laurel and Hardy movies (along with some more cocktails) as well as some "Our Gang" shorts from time to time. Each group or "tent" is named after one of their movies. Our tent is "Brats"

We have about 50-60 members and are always looking for others that may enjoy an occasional evening out for some good food and laughter (And cocktails).

Yearly dues are $25.00 for singles and $35.00 for a family membership. Dinner is usually $13.00, so very affordable. We start gathering around 5:00-5:30 and are done around 8-ish. It's a lot of fun to re-live watching John Gallos show their movies on sunday mornings growing up. (except now it's with cocktails)

You can contact me through this site or check out our website at www.bratsoasis286.com

Hope to hear from some of you

Cheers,

John (Sub vice Sheik)

Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I, for one, will be thankful that it will be in the mid 50's on Thanksgiving.

But seriously, Take a minute or two and really think about what you're thankful for and let your friends and family know how grateful you are that they are a part of your life. Also, think about the ones that are no longer with us and think of the wonderful times we had.

We sometimes take these things for granted.

Be safe

Hey, Dona,  You're very sweet.  Anyone from school or the neighborhood who knew my dad liked him.  :)  I was very blessed to have him for so many years.  Blessings, Lisa

Betty,

Thanks for the info on Mr. Reganfuss.  I wish I could have seen many of our past teachers to apologize for being a toad.  He was certainly one I owed an apology to.  Brian McGinley and I could share many tales of the classroom with Joe.

It is good to see any former teacher updates.  I did enjoy school in Bloomington.  I have so much more respect for our teachers since I have lived across the US and experienced many school districts.  We were very fortunate to have the school program we had.

Will be in MN late June for a family reunion.  Hope to see a few classmates

So sad to see the passing of yet another one of our classmates. I have many fond memories of Brad , especially from Cedarcrest.

I would bump into him from time to time over the years and he never changed. Quirky and intense,  but always lovable. That was Brad..

Rest easy my friend. You will be missed

So sad....Brad, sorry to see you leave us.  As Steve states, Brad was quite an entertaining guy and was as entertaining as ever when I saw him last a few years ago.  Brad and I had some good times camping together back in junior high.  Wish I would have been on this site earlier, I would have gone to the funeral.

Brad,  I remember meeting you at Hope Presbyterian Sunday School in 5th grade.  You made every Sunday morning entertaining and an event to look forward to.  I was surprised and excited when I saw you at Portland Junior High the first day of 7th grade.  I knew the next few years were going to be fun and you always had a smile and a comment to make all of us laugh.

Rest in Peace.

I just now heard about Brad.  I am so sorry to hear.  My prayers for the repose of his soul and consolation of his family.

Wow ... another passing ... and Brad at that! It was not that long ago I saw him!

Shourtly after our 50th party I was at the neighbors and here came Brad --

he'd driven up and down the streets looking for my truck cuz he knew i

lived in the neighbor hood. I will never forget that!

Rest now Brad.

Dona,

I will be back the last week of June and the schedule is booked with relatives inside and outside of the cities.  I know any day picked would be an inconvenient day, but Wednesday the 27th looks to be my best opportunity to meet in Bloomington.  Would that work?
