Assistant Chief for Princeton Volunteer Fire Department, Served two terms as Mayor for the City of Princeton, defeated this last May and then was appointed to fill the unexpired term of the Council member who won the Mayor's race, now I have a vote, Deacon at Dunn Memorial Baptist Church.
Missed coming to the reunion, being Fire Marshal it was during one of our busiest times of the year, however I really would like to make the next one and prayfully will be retired by then.
Finally retired from Collin County after 32 years, four months, 6 hours and 15 minutes on January 31, 2011. Went to work with the Texas Forest Service in Prevention and Public Information and have been mobilized five times since March 22nd and about to be mobilized again and have put in over 900 hours (part-time seasonal employee), but loving ever minute of it. Maybe one of my assignments I will be sent to the Panhandle, so far I have had to work in the Abliene area, Wichita Falls and North Texas areas.
Great news to report, our son and daughter-in-law informed us we are going to be grandparents. Prayers have been answered. Should have a new Deffibaugh around March or April of 2013
