Comments:
After graduation, I started at the University of Washington. I only went one year and then I married Tom Pedersen from our class and we moved to California (Tom was in the Army). We had a son (Tyler) and moved back to Bothell. Then we got divorced in 1994. I had a daughter in 1996 and then as a single mom of two, went back to college. I had almost finished my English degree when I began to wonder what paying job could I get with that degree... So I went in to Technical Communication through the College of Engineering at UW.
I graduated in 1998 with a BS in Technical Communication, a minor in computer science and a BA in English. I took a job with IBM in Rochester, MN and moved there with my kids.
That's where I met Jason (I actually met him online). We got married in 1999 and have only had 2 "fights"! :)
In 2000, we moved to Issaquah.
In 2001, we moved to Houston, TX.
In 2003, we moved to Monticello, MN.
In 2005, we moved to Northfield, MN. We love our house here and do not plan to move again!!!
Jason and I had a boy in 2003 who has Autism. The diagnosis was staggering, but early intervention has been amazing! Carson is just about as "normal" as any quirky kindergarten kid!
It's hard to believe high school was 20 years ago.
Hopefully we'll be able to come over for the reunion.
