Bill was diagnosed with gliobalistoma in December and had brain surgery on dec.26 the cancer was overwhelming it took his life on April 22. He loved Boulder city and enjoyed visiting family. He returned every year or a least almost every year for class reunions he enjoyed talking about old times and also what was new in you life. He enjoyed life with his family and cars and motorcycles and many tools and all the things he loved. I'll miss him he was a good man,smart man and a loyal man. Bill was a great friend to me both in school and for years gone by. He sent me funny and interesting emails and I will miss them. I am so sorry to hear of his passing but happy he didn't have to suffer any longer than he did. I have known several people that suffered with cancer for such a long time. I was so sorry to hear about Bill .. I saw him last year 2014 at the reunion and he was so kind to remember my parents and talk about how he adored them. Bill's family rented and then bought my parents home on 5th st. in the 60s.

It was with great sadness to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good friend throughout high school. We rode schooters together, then worked on lots of old Fords together, and had many stimulating conversations. Many of the conversations were the result of reading U.S. News and World Report for Mr. Gettler's World Events Class, and even then Bill was a deep thinker, and concerned about the world. He was always remarkably genuine, no hidden agendas, no deception. It was a great joy to re-connect as a result of recent class reunions, and to exchange many interesting emails. In them he talked about his family, his collection of 'mostly old' vehicles of various types, and his cats. And he sent a lot of humorous emails and cartoons to brighten my days. I feel blessed to have known him. My condolences to his family and friends.
