Our family lived in Boulder City between 1951 -1953. Our parents, Willian (Bill) class of '55. Brother Robert (Bob) was in 6th class. Brother Jeff may have been in the lower school with my sister Diane. Jeff walked across Australia and with a friend wrote "Gulf to Gulf ...the long walk". It is free (donations accepted) in PDF form at www.Gulf to Gulf.info Jeff was only in primary school at B.C. But you may be interested in his book. Regards. W.J.
PS. Jeff has since walked across Australia again and also driven his electric car round Australia. Second electric car to do so.regards to all.

My youngest brother Jeffrey Ernest Johnson was age 10 to 12 years in 1951 to 1953 and in junior school when we lived in BC for two years. Later at age 70 (I think) Jeff walked across Australia and a few years later did it again. In recent times he was the second person to drive round Australia in an electric car. He wrote a book of his first walk an it is available free at jeffj@jeffswalk.com Earlier years he introduced the internet to the Australian public, previously only available universities etc. maybe others from junior school have written books too? Kind regards to all members and have a great new year. Bill Johnson, oz.

Very sorry to hear of Carl's passing. We had occassional correspondence over the many years since our school days. I last saw Carl at our 50th gathering. Sympathy to Carl's family. Bill Johnson.
I remember John Barlow as a kind and gentle person who had plenty of patience telling me about gridiron and baseball when we first arrived in Boulder City from Australia. When we moved to Cleveland and other places for 6 months where our father was working, John very strongly insisted I go to the home of the Cleveland Indians for a game. I never saw a game but was allowed to walk onto the field and have a good look around.
It was a pleasure to visit BC for the 50th class anniversary and catch up with John and Carolyn and classmates.Very sad as we age and lose our friends. RIP John Barlow. William Johnson 1955.
