After graduating from Viewmont in 1989, I attended Southern Utah University and received my BS in Education. I taught in the Park City School District for 3 years then left to co-found a private school (The Colby School) in 1998. I have taught at The Colby School since then and will be teaching 6th-8th grade history and English/Writing/Literature in the coming school year. I married Brent Christiansen (another Utah native) in 2002 in the Escalante desert and we currently live in Sugarhouse. We have no children (by choice) and travel and enjoy nature as much as possible. We love Utah very much and are so happy to be here!
