After a 40 year career in Architectural Technology, including almost 10 years in civil service with MTHA, my wife and I both retired in 2009 and moved to Malawi, Africa, where we serve as Missionaries with Emmanuel International. I manage a Water and Sanitation Department of the Mission, constructing new wells and rehabilitating existing wells, to provide safe drinking water to the villages of southern Malawi. In addition I work with the EBCM (Evangelical Baptist Church of Malawi) in pastoral capacity as a teacher/chaplain. We are currently serving a two year posting, but could see that extended beyond Oct 2011, if the Lord wills. Any wishing to support our work can contribute to it, c/o Lloyd McDougall at Emmanuel International Canada, in Stouffville, ON

Welcome aboard the Central Peel Alumni site. I am also a grad from class of '67. Went on to Ryerson and worked in Architecture & Building Science both in gov't & private sectors til 5 years ago. Then my wife and i went to Malawi Africa for four years as Missionaries with Emmanuel International. Currently in Philippines til March. I have only kept up with two other Alumni since the age of Internet. One who was a classmate in Technical section with me and had a son working in Malawi also & a lady who now lives in South Africa.
