Mr. Ballard was born June 5, 1924 and died December 24, 1997.  Mr. Ballard served in the Air Force during World War II.  He began teaching in 1948 and retired in 1984.  At Brazosport HS most of us had Mr. Ballard for Government, Economics or Advanced Social Science Problems.  We all know he was Joe's dad.  He was married to Martha Ballard Smith and she graciously provided this information.
