I remember going to church with Mike and Jimmy and singing in church with Jimmy. I'm sure his family feels the loss of Jimmy and Mike. I pray that God gives them strength and the joyful memories of Jimmy and Mike give them peace.
I first met Jimmy during 7th grade at Freeport Junior High. We had Spanish classes together during Junior High, and often practiced our Spanish with each other. I’ll always remember Jimmy’s smile and personality. Maybe it’s something about those Jones Creek kids. Tony Barnard
I knew Jimmy most of my life since we attended the same church for a long time. He was a special guy & always had a hug for me when I saw him. We talked a lot after we graduated . Jimmy befriended my Mother @ church & did a lot of a"handy man" things for her when we weren't around to help. Mom really thought a lot of him. Jimmy was really ill towards the end of his stay here on earth but he had made his peace with Jesus and was looking forward to going to his Heavenly home. Jimmy also had a beautiful voice so I know he's singing in the Lord's choir. Jimmy will be one of the special angels I look up when I pass thru the pearly gates of Heaven. God bless the Broadway family!!
