Claudette Crosby Koehler of Flower Mound, Texas went home to Jesus on February 10, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Claudette was born in Freeport, Texas on May 26, 1951, to Claude and Orama Crosby in Freeport, Texas.  After Claudette graduated from Brazosport High School, she went on to study education at The University of North Texas.

After graduating, she went on to teach for 33 years most of it spent at Lewisville High School as a special education teacher.  She truly loved her calling as an educator and helped countless students.

In 2013 Claudette retired and started her favorite role as Nona.  Her family and grandbabies were her priority and passion.  Her home was always open to friends and family, and she always made everyone feel loved and welcomed.

Claudette was preceded in death by Claude Crosby (Father), Orama Crosby (Mother), Marshall Crosby (Brother).  She is survived by her husband of 39 years Steve Koehler, son Marshall and wife Julie, son Michael and wife Kim, her beloved grandchildren Stetson (9), Lyla (8), Steele (6), Zoey (5), and Milly (2).

Services will be held at Northview Baptist Church in Lewisville on February 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to The Foundation for Women’s Cancer in Claudette’s name.

I am so sorry to hear of Claudette's passing. She was one of the sweetest and nicest people I ever knew. She was so full of fun and joy. I am sure heaven is a better place with Claudette. We will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband of thirty nine years and all her family.
