Mike J. Edge**

A loving couple, the Reverend Michael J. Edge and Marilyn L. Parker Edge, completed their earthly tasks and went to be with their Lord on December 7, 2005, after being involved in an auto accident in Honduras. They have been dedicated, humble servants for their Lord and working as foreign missionaries throughout Mexico and Honduras for many years. At their time of death, they had been serving as president of the United Pentecostal Church of Honduras. Previous to their mission work, they started a Spanish UPC church in Clute.

Michael was born on May 26, 1951, and Marilyn was born on March 13, 1953. They are survived by two beautiful daughters, Christy Edge of Lake Jackson and Naomi Edge of Tupelo, MS; a grandson, Chris Matthew Jai Edge of Tupelo, MS; their parents, John and Velma Edge of Lake Jackson, Pete and Mary Parker of Normangee, TX, and Evelyn Parker of Brazoria; their siblings, Glen and Pat (Edge) Jones, Pam Shields, Robert and Regina Parker, Harold and Lisa Parker, and Joy (Parker) Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at the First Church UPC in Pearland, followed by services on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Folsom Chapel Cemetery in Center, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Foreign Missions UPCI, Honduras Camp Ground, 8855 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042
