Donna Kaye Faulkner, 60, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at her residence. She was born May 30, 1951, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Franklin and Helen Confer Faulkner.

She was a lifelong resident of Lake Jackson and graduated from Brazosport High School in 1969. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lake Jackson. Donna was a caring and loving sister and aunt. She never had any children of her own, but had a mother’s heart.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly Llewellyn (Larry), of Houston; sister-in-law, Sue Faulkner, of Chesapeake, Virginia; brother, Curtis (Janet), of Richwood; nieces, Stephanie, Gretchen, Karyn and Jennifer; great-nieces, Tiffany, Erin, Kelsey, Jessica, Sofia, Katie, Emma, Laynie, Camryn and Zoe; nephews, Michael, Tracy, Keith, Jered, Jeff and Justin; and great-nephews, Adam, Ryan, C.J., Tyler, Caleb, Korbyn, Isiah, Kaden and Derek.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Faulkner.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Stroud Funeral Home in Clute with Pastor Gary Thornton officiating. Burial will be at Restwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2012, at Stroud Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the IPH Hospice nurses and caretakers, Debbie, Lizzette, Casey, Alicia and Chaplain Thomas Lester, for their loving and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donna Faulkner may be made to IPH Hospice Care, 135 E. Hospital Drive, Angleton, TX 77515.

Alice Day (Smith)

I had classes with Donna from elementary school thorugh graduation. She was a fun classmate. I will see you in heaven, Donna.
