Gayle Gholson Scruggs, 72 of Fulshear, Texas passed after a short illness on October 20, 2023. Gayle Scruggs was born to Alden Ray Gholson and Arnola Mae Gholson on January 7, 1951 in Bay City, Texas. 

Gayle married Leslie Dale Scruggs in Lake Jackson, Texas on December 28,1971. Gayle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 

During her free time she enjoyed traveling and spending time in the yard. Her love for gardening was advanced when she took the time to become an accomplished master gardener of Fort Bend County. 

Gayle is survived by her husband Leslie Scruggs and her two sons Jason Scruggs (Linda Scruggs) and Kevin Scruggs (Heather Scruggs). Her sister Myra Patterson (Roger Patterson) along with many nieces and nephews, in-laws and three grandsons; Kyle, Ryan and Jayven Scruggs as well as 2 step grandchildren Alexander and Katelyn Matthews.

Services will be held on October 26, 2023 at Restwood Funeral Home 1038 W Plantation Dr. Clute, Tx. 77531. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with funeral and graveside service to follow.
