GIANGROSSO Pamela Kirk Giangrosso passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones. Born May 30, 1951 to Douglas Wendell and Nina Cowgar Kirk, she was a native of Lake Jackson, TX and a resident of Covington since 1983. The beloved wife of Dr. Salvadore R. Giangrosso, she is also survived by her daughter, Vanessa Crosley Chauviere and son-in-law, Charles; one son, W. Ryan Crosley; two brothers, Douglas and Kenneth Kirk and four grandchildren: Alyssa, Tristan, Jon and Emily Chauviere. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Gathering and greeting at the church will begin at 10:30 AM with recitation of the Rosary and the funeral mass beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will immediately follow mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice. E.J. May 30, 1951 - March 22, 2011 Pamela Kirk Giangrosso passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, surrounded by her loved ones.

 

Pam grew up in Lake Jackson and graduated from Brazosport High School in 1969, and attended University of Houston, worked in cancer research labs at M. D. Anderson, and after moving to Louisiana, she owned and operated a health food store “Haven Sent” and that became her passion and philosophy, to educate and teach wellness as a way for better health.

She and her husband, Dr. Sal had a successful Chiropractor Clinic in Covington, for over 25 years, built on that philosophy.

Memorial services were held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church, in Covington, Louisiana.

Gathering and greeting at the church began at 10:30 a.m. with recitation of the Rosary, and the funeral mass beginning at noon. Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington immediately followed mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Hospice, 1400 Gause Suite 200, Slidell, Louisiana, 70458.
