Seth Edward Knox, II, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lago Vista, Texas, January 23, 2018. Seth was born in Freeport, Texas and grew up in Lake Jackson. He graduated from Brazosport High School in 1969. Seth loved golf, riding his Harleys, surfing, and was an avid Texas Longhorn football fan. Most of all he loved his family, near and far. He always said that he thought his mission in life was to “Make people laugh” and he, with his large personality, managed to do that.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Seth and Lela Marie Knox. He is survived by his wife, Susan; brother, Sam (Chris) Knox; sister, Sharon (Jerry) Craig all of Lake Jackson, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the yellow House Foundation, 120 Commercial Parkway, Cedar Park, TX 78613, or the charity of choice.

Sonny lived life large and always made you smile. Don't know of anyone who enjoyed the ride here on Earth as much as he did. R I P my friend, and keep smiling down on us.

Sonny was always fun to be around. We had a bunch of classes together at BHS and he was the one to keep the class cracking up with laughter and cause the teacher to send him to the principle. :-) I am disappointed we won't see him at the 50th.

Strange sad coincidence for me. Back in Lake Jackson Elementary days, both Seth Knox and Terry Pearson lived on Huisache Court while both families waited for new houses to be built in Lake Jackson. My family visited the Pearsons a lot and Seth, Terry, and I played around the neighborhood before they both moved. Really sad the latest two announcements of Exporters who have moved on are for these two. Those were golden days and I sure wish they'd gotten to stay with us longer.

Those areas are still new to me, but I have dreams every decade or so about wandering around looking for stuff in the ditch/back yard etc. Pops built our first of our five teaching pools on the corner Palm Lane and Jasmine. Terry was the one that got me in trouble, heehee. He had a great smile. I can see his teeth now under that curly blonde haired face.
