I am very sad to hear that Dickie past away. He and I did many things together when i lived in Clute. Dickie lived at the end of Kyle Rd. in Clute. The gang in our neighborhood were Dickie, Mark Smitherman, Vickie Norris, Ted Broaddus, Ray McGinty, Mike Edge, Cynthia Brothers, Dixie King and myself and all of us were 1969 graduates. I lived there until 1963 when we moved to Sleepy Hollow.
Dickie's family breed beagles. I got my very first dog from his mother. I named the dog Casper after the friendly you know who. I must have been about 7 or 8 years old.
