I will always have great memories of Iwest. I met him in 9th grade and became immediate friends. It was a time of coming together in Texas schools.

We both were raised with similar traits of tolerance and acceptance by our parents. I remember an especially bad experience when Iwest came to my aid, because he had a kind and just soul.

I only knew Iwest and Charles during high school but enjoyed knowing them. Years later I met Joyce when she worked at Denny's with my wife.

After the birth of my first son I ran into Iwest at Krogers. I showed him my son and told him His name was JOHN WESLEY....He said,"You named him after me."

I also remember going to his parents house with my dad to fix their television.

I am proud to have known Iwest and I am sure that his kind spirit is still living through his children because good parents raise good children.

About the smallest guy on the JV team Thursday nights. But how he could hit! Thanks for being such quiet dynomite. I've often thought of how much fun you had being you.
