God saw you getting tired,

When a cure was not to be.

So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, “come to me.”

You didn’t deserve what you went through,

So he gave you rest.

God’s garden must be beautiful,

He only takes the best.

And when I saw you sleeping,

So peaceful and free from pain

I could not wish you back

To suffer that again.

That poem is so precious. Although I wasn't around Patti these last years, she was always such a sweet and kind person. Prayers for the family at this time.

Patti was so sweet, kind to all & outgoing. I know she will be terribly missed by her family and her close friends. Sending prayers to you all that you find comfort in each other knowing that "the God of all comfort" is near each of you.
