Gregory Wood Clarke, born in Brekenridge, Texas on September 21, 1950 to Virginia and Bob Clarke was called home by the Lord on August 18, 2018.
Greg moved to Freeport in 1961 and then Lake Jackson in 1966. He graduated from Brazosport High School in 1969. Greg served in the US Air Force. He married Mary Knapp in 1974 in Abilene, Texas; they moved back to Lake Jackson in 1981.Greg worked as a Journeyman Electrician as he was starting his second pest control company. He was a member of the Lions Club and AA. Greg was a Mayflower Descendant and his family moved to Texas in 1835.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons, Sha, Greg and Joey; grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Jadelyn, Joey , Jereth, and Mason; great-granddaughter, Kinsley; brother, Kevin; uncle, Richard; nieces, Mandy, Shana, Ashley, Bob and Jackie Knapp.
Greg will be laid to rest in Abilene, Texas. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25th at Second Baptist Church, 201 Garland Dr., Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
