In May, I drove across country to move to Prescott AZ where I am living and working on a small urban farm. We have a 30' greenhouse, chickens, bees, and outdoor gardens. A big part of my work is growing microgreens in our climate controlled grow tent. We sell them at the farmer's market on Saturdays. I do most of the chicken care and help with creating and selling worm castings. We plan to add goats and rabbits in the spring. I feel good about being involved in growing nutritious food in these times. The owner of the farm is a thirty year friend so it is a harmonious situation. Prescott is in the mountains at 5300' so it is a lot cooler than Tucson was.
