I know one of the songs (submitted by me) was Queen "One Vision". I love the "Fried Chicken!" ending.

We got ripped. The Queen song is STILL so cool they just put it in Grand Theft Auto IV.

Whitesnake is, and was, teh suxorz :P

...and yeah, Will has a crazy good memory. The unidentified drinks didn't kill his brain cells like they did mine. You DON'T want to ask him all the things he remembers from Battle, trust me.

Oh, and thanks so much for the hard work Kelly, Ken, and Bonnie. I'll stroke a check soon unless you have the PayPal account up by Friday. If so, that's what I'll be using.

Shannon Morefield A paypal account sounds great! That will be much easier and faster than "snail mail"!! And as far as Dennis being gay, I dont think so Rob....Dennis was my very first date!! He took me to the Skate Fun on Valentines Day when we were in the 5th grade!! What a wonderful memory...& the memory of how he skated over my fingers!! OWIE!!! LOL....Love ya Den!

Patti Silcox (Hubbard) I have been looking up addresses for a couple of weeks and have sent out some flyers. Let me know if any of you have addresses for those who haven't registered on the website. It's harder to find the girls since alot of them have married names now. I also ran an ad in the paper a couple of weeks ago about the reunion and I plan on doing that again soon. Thanks!!

Shannon Morefield I just went into my account @ Classmates.com- there was no info about the reunion on it so I created an "EVENT" and listed some of the details and posted the web address for here....maybe we will find a few more classmates from there!!!

Hey Rob...I found a few good ones last night...just need to get to my Mom's scanner to scan them and I will get them right up! One is of us all in our cap and gowns in the football stands, one of me and Bussey at the prom, and one of me and my Mom right after graduation. Look for them later!

Oh yeah, I found one of Jody Chapman when he was about 7 or so years old...wonder if he would mind...LOL!

FYI.. I had mentioned that I was interviewing for the music position at High Point,,, well I did not get it.. probably due to the fact my certification is in GA and hasn't transfered yet.. I have to retake praxis 2 and VCLA....it would have been nice,,,,, However I have been offered a job at The Academy at King. This is a new private school starting up next school year! we will see. Muuhhuuhhaaaaaaaaa

Niki Newton (Collier) I just looked at highschoolsports.net and found that there is a home football game against Patrick Henry on Friday Sept 19 2008. Someone had mentioned trying to set up a reunion event for going to the game.

Robert Bruton BWAHAHAHAH! Oh my gosh. I had totally forgotten about that group photo of all of us in our cap and gowns. Will and I had decided to try to look like we were drunk, or something, and he CHICKENED OUT on me. So I'm the only one who looks like he's about to fall between the bleachers.

Hi Everyone...I have been thinking about a way that we could honor our fellow classmates that have died. I thought that maybe we could collect some money at the reunion to donate a tree or trees to Battle with a plaque with their names on it? I have left a message with the Assistant Principal to see if they would be okay if we could do that in the memory of our friends. Just let me know what everyone thinks. Maybe we could tie it into the football game on Friday night?????

On a side note......It still blows my mind that Jeff Hawkins is the Principal at Battle...Who knew back 20 years ago!

Shannon Vickers (Eldreth) That is a beautiful idea Kathy. One of the pics I put up on photobucket last night was of Eugenia. It was her senior picture, the one in the yearbook. I had a wallet size gently tucked away in my memories album. She was such a sweet, gentle soul. Miss her greatly.
