so far I've told Shon Pritchard, Jeff Martin, Lydia Sinemus, Steve Owens, and William Dalton. I could probably get the word out to Angie Leonard, her sister Tina works at Home Dept. I see Tina all the time. I'm usually carrying a toilet, 2X4s, nails, or something! lol so I haven't told her yet but I will in the next day or so.

Hi Everyone, just checked out the pictures on photobucket -great pictures! What a blast from the past!! OMG, I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Junior and Eugenia. Not to dig up old wounds (but I've been out of the loop all these years), can anyone tell me what happened? I also remember Junior being the funny one and Eugenia being the biggest sweetheart ever. I'm hoping to make the reunion if I can get the time off from work.

The principal at JSB has approved the planting of a tree in memory of the deceased classmates. He said it needs to be a small tree like a dogwood, etc...However, he said that he doesn't want a plaque put up because it would not be consistent with the other classes in the past that have planted trees. Kathy is going to call him this week to discuss specifics. I was actually shocked that he approved it because I assumed it would have to go through the school board; we all know how political everything is these days.......so that was good news that he could approve it.

Hi everyone!!!

I am so glad to see you guys working so hard to get everyone contacted. I can hardly wait for Sept!

A new feature has been added to the website, if you haven't noticed it, yet.... Family Picnic Sign-up

Please sign up for the family picnic and let us know how many from your family will attend. We need to get busy with preparations and we need a good estimate of who will attend.

Thanks!!

Hey Missy, when you referred to working at the jail, were you by chance referring to the perverts/jailbirds from our class that have been in the news, I WOULD like to name-names but I won't. It's not like its a secret who they are, Sorry I couldn't resist. : ) Some Shocking stuff.

I did call Marty Tate and talked with him about the events, I also gave him the website address as well. He said he and his wife would check it out. I also sent out a message to everyone that was listed in the graduating class that is a member of myspace(total of 18), some have logged in here and some have not. I sent another message to Angela Leonard(I believe it is her-only other Angela I know of that hasn't signed on here), but I still haven't gotten any response from her. I have sent Patti several lists of people that I have found on the free searches, hope I helped out with that. I did send her the info on Mark Teaster, so hopefully he will get on here soon too. I will look into more this weekend as well, I will send you anything I find Patti!

Oh and I called and talked to Charity Kuzio, I let her know about the event and sent the website to her sisters email per her request, not sure if she will get on here or not, but we can hope.

Dennis, somehow I can totally picture you carrying a toilet. I think the last time I saw you, you were hugging one... LOL
(I was probably hugging the one next to you) <shakes head>

Please make it clear to all any expenses related to procuring and planting the tree. I'd be glad to pay my share.

Hey again Patti! I just got off the phone with Leon Stanley. Got his number from his mother. I emailed him the link to the website and he will check it out soon!

06/14/08 11:25 PM #157

Patti Silcox (Hubbard)

Hey Shannon thanks for calling Leon. I am doing pretty good on finding addresses, I can do alot of that from my office during the week. Making calls is kinda difficult for me to do at work since I am on the phone most of the day scheduling, and the last thing I want to do when I get home is talk on the phone. :)
Thanks again!!

Patti Silcox (Hubbard)

Ok, Missy I just about pissed on myself laughing!!! I thought I was the only one with a copy of that picture you posted on photobucket of me!!! OMG!!!! Your caption says Patti and the 80's hair - it was more like 80 feet tall hair!!!!!! Please someone tell me what was I thinking!!!! LOL

By the way, that is Doyle Welch. :)

06/15/08 01:00 AM #159

Melissa Ball (Shaffer)

Most of us were thinking the same thing! It WAS the 80's haha, and we were there! Every time I see an old 80's movie like pretty in pink, valley girls, Ferris Beulers day off, 16 candles, or some other 80's high school flick, I am laughing and thinking my God look at that hair/clothes/makeup....wait a minute..we were in high school in the 80's...we dressed like that...oh well, could have been worse..could have been the 70's!!!!
But you know what else, we are STILL listening to 80's music, it was good. I heard 80's metal at your Halloween party & its on your myspace page so I know you do too. I still have the vhs video of Whitesnake's album! LOL
But where else can you compare with the brilliant song writers from the 80's and such classics like:

Every body wang chung tonight-
Safety Dance
Relax (dont do it)
Lets put the X in sex
Were not gonna take it
You gotta fight for your right (to party)
LOL, they werent brilliant, but they were fun, and still have a space on my ipod.

Patti,

I read your post a couple lines above, you mentioned Sherri Barnette, I saw her at work last night when I went to work there for staffing and told her about it. Will giver her this website address also.

06/15/08 03:03 AM #161

Shannon Vickers (Eldreth)

Patti, don't blame you there about talking on the phone. I don't mind it too much, since in my work, God Bless her heart, I don't do very much talking. You are welcome as well! This has been alot of fun for me trying to reconnect with old friends. Then I stop and think...hey, I only went to school with these guys for one year...wow, I can't believe how many I knew! Thanks you guys for being such good classmates/friends to this newbie then, and still today.
