Jamie Lou Ferrel-Kirby went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 23, 2023. Jamie was born December 12, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Jimmy and Tommie Vernon. 
Jamie was an outgoing child, with a fiery spirit. She was dependable and caring from an early age. She graduated from Broken Arrow high school in 1973 and worked as an office manager for 20 years and a medical biller for 20 years. Jamie first and foremost prided herself on her three sons, and made clear the four were inseparable. Jamie was very adventurous, enjoying traveling, scuba diving, and water skiing. The last couple of years her favorite thing to do was lay in the sun on the sandy beach with a drink in her hand. That was one of her absolute favorite spots. She loved to go to concerts and lit up every room she entered. She loved being a mother and grandmother. 
Jamie is survived by her husband, David Kirby, mother, Tommie Lou Vernon, sons Chabonie (Robin), Dakota (Sarah) and Brandon (Paulina) all of Broken Arrow, three grandchildren, Colton, Amelia, and Aliyah, her niece, Nikkia Stout, and her brother Clint.
