I went to NEO A&M for one year , then transferred to OSU. Studied landscape design. Married Frances Barnes in May of '78 (on Rooster Day!). Then graduated and went to work landscaping. When the economy got tight in the 80's , I changed occupations. Now I work with electricity ....go figure! We still live in BA; and so our kids also graduated from BAHS! BA is so much bigger now than in '75, I guess that's why I don't run into more of you that live here too. Anyway, I look forward to getting together with my fellow classmates this year, and in the years to come!
I can remember (we're not THAT old yet) the best part of Sr. English Class , was to beat the bell ! There was 3 or 4 of us guys who had the hall clock time down to a nano second of when the bell would ring. If we were not in our seats by the time the bell rung it was a tardy! So we felt that it was our duty to challenge THE BELL. We would stand around in the hall until we saw the clock make it's last tick of the minute hand , then we knew we had only a few seconds to make it thru the door (most of the time 3 or 4 of us wide) and into our seats. Sounds stupid now ..... but it was fun at the time! :-)
