Moved to Florida to go to college and pretty much decided to stay, with the exception of a strange four-month stint when I chased a girl up to North Carolina.
The short story is moved to FL, got married while in college, got divorced while in college, started my own business, realized what a horribly bad idea that was and ended my business, got a job with a paycheck, got a more rewarding job with a smaller paycheck....that's pretty much it.
I hadn't thought of Bellport, really, until I ran into my old guidance counselor (Sanford Redock) at a work function last month. Bizarre how paths cross.
