OLIVIA VELAZQUEZ Amaya

Well, after leaving Bellport in 1989 I went to SUNY Stony Brook where I graduated with a BS in Business Managament. I worked 8 years for OMSG Inc as an international Diplomatic advisor-very exciting job but the 12 hour days didn't agree with my being a mother. So I left, stayed home for a couple years taking care of my children-my 3rd daughter has a rare disease that required some years of intensive surgery and recovery. Two years ago, I decided to go back to school and complete my Masters to become a business teacher. I did my part-time student teaching at Bellport High, it was strange at first but nice to see some old faces still walking the halls. I graduate this May and have been substitute teaching for the district this past year.
I am proud of my four children and my amazing husband Leo. My twin daughters turned "Sweet 16" and are taller than me...Gabriella is my "mini me" and my son is called the "gentle giant" in his class. Can't wait to catch up with everyone! Take care...

I can't believe it has been 20 years and can't wait to see everyone- I couldn't make it to the 10 year reunion but won't miss this one!
