Kenny Washington - Class Of 1970 VIEW PROFILE

Kenny Washington

From Barry Grossman:

I feel homored to have called Kenny my friend, he was an old soul in a young body. He was kind, caring and well ahead of his time. We lost touch a long time ago, then news came my way that he had left us. PBS did a documentary on his life. Any person who met Kenny had to feel his vibrance for life and equality.

I remember Kenny and he was truly a really nice guy. I used to bump into him in the East Village alot in the late 60's and early 70's.

Any links to that PBS documentary? I too was friendly with Kenny, and I too lost touch with him. What information does anyone have about Kenny?

I remember going to the movies with Ken. He said I wish that I had your height. At the end of the movie he commented that it must be good to see the movie with two eyes. Ill never forget those words he was a great soul and will always be remembered

I, too, remember Kenny.  He was a part of that unique lacework that we have come to cherish and hold dear to our hearts as we continue our journies through life.

He is Home with our heavenly Father.  He is now whole and sees again with both eyes.  Amen.

We all miss you Kenny, our brother and classmate.  May you rest in peace.
