Nancy Mattson McAfee

Alexander is living Venice, CA and has started a couple companies - Fast and Light and Conrad Mens. He also serves as a business consultant to other startups.

Janelle lives in Prior Lake with her husband Joe and children, daughter Madeline Claire and son Kellan Alexander. She is a manager for Progressive Insurance in Burnsville and her husband Joe is a fraud investigator for Geiko Insurance.

We really enjoy traveling. I travel to California quite often to see our son. Also, I serve and have served on the State and National Boards of BPA, a student organization, and travel several times a year to state and national conferences.

Rolfe has retired now and we have begun to travel more.

I am enjoying retirement, but more than that being a grandmother - it is the best ever. What a joy they bring to our lives.

I substitute teach at Buffalo High School a couple days a week, which is great fun.

We live in Monticello in the country on seven and a half wooded acres and enjoy the sounds and silence this offers. Who needs a cabin when you are surrounded by lakes, woods, wildlife when you walk out the front door:)

Remembering how it was for women back in the day. We could not participate in school sports except for GAA, which was a total joke. We were relegated to the bleachers where we could cheer for the boys! We have come a long way since then and I am so supportive of the opportunities for our young women and also for the variety of activities for our young men.

Even the school song has been updated to reflect the changes...

I also couldn't be in marching band at the U - we were told that women didn't have the stamina. So again, it was back to the bleachers to cheer on the boys playing football and marching in the band!

I have no bitterness regarding this - just a statement of how different it is 50 years later. Thank goodness!
