We were close to totality here in Myrtle Beach. This event packed the town, traffic was thick. We opted to stay at home. Just a wonderful sight to enjoy. Hope to come to New York in 2024 to see another.

In Columbia, SC we had a wonderful 100% total eclipse, with lots of visitors filling all the hotels in the City for various celebrations.

Fortunately, we are in San Antonio on the left side of Harvey and been essentially spared a lot of mayhem. Houston is practically underwater and folks 30 miles east of us have substantial damage. Maybe 72 more hours of this.

Stay safe, Larry.  We're praying for eveyone affected by Harvey.  Our pastor's cousin lost her house and she's waiting to hear about her aunt & uncle.  So much devastation.

Has anyone heard from Neil Smith? He lives in the Houston area.

Also, I believe Dave Knapp has worked closely with Houston police department so wouldn't surprise me if he's out there rescuing people. I'm in Dallas so if anyone needs a safe haven and is able to get out, holler out!

Dave Knapp posted photos on facebook showing all the water about 2 days ago. Not sure how he's doing.

Happy BirthDay Rol Fessenden.  May you have 72 more.

Don Markle, How are you? Where are you? Still in CA?

We live in Maine, and we love it here. The kids and grand kids are in Boston, so we see them often.

We are still pretty active, doing a lot of hiking and camping. Last year we spent a month hiking in Scotland, and then I hiked with some male friends 100 miles on the Appalachian Trail.

I am still keeping busy in a lot of ways.

Tell me about yourself! I'd love to hear. Are you in touch with Tom R?

Rol

It is great to see long-term marriages.  Dick & I celebrated our 52nd anniversary in July.  We dated for 3 years before we married.

Becky Sundean & Tom Czerwinski have been married over 50 years too.

Hi everyone.  I have been divorced from my first wife for 46 years and from my second wife for 31 years, and I am a licensed marriage counselor.   Congratulations all you longtime marrieds.  It takes a lot of work and caring to be married "forever".

Dick Mooshie;  We lucked out.  The storm stalled and then disintegrated.  Very weird, but welcomed.
