Tammie Wheeler (Kennedy) Delores- I was reading through the messages and ran across Johnny Glasper. Was anyone in the 1st or 2nd grade class with him? He stood up in the middle of class and pulled his pants down. That vision is embedded in my brain. I am still traumatized to this day :)

Christy Bridges (Pirkle) there was a teacher at the elementary school named Ms. Burel.. she taught 1st grade... she was probably in her 60's then... I had her... she was really sweet but I was probably one of the sweet ones...lol

Tammie Wheeler (Kennedy) No, I never had Mrs. Pearson. I had Mrs. Burel 1st grade, Mrs. Crawford 2nd grade, Miss Beard 3rd grade and Mrs. Mergler 4th grade. I remember Mrs. Burel dragging him by the arm to Mr. Waldrip's office.

well I know we both had Mrs. Peachtree and Mrs. Routson for kindergarten... I had Mrs. Burel-1st, Mrs.Griffin-2nd, Mrs. Beard-3rd, Mrs. Scales-4th...loved Mrs. Scales... probably one of my favorite teachers throughout school....even though she gave me a B in conduct and I got in so much trouble with my daddy.... he was so mad at me. It wasn't entirely my fault and I will stick to that one today... ask Amy Bennett -she probably remembers... Jon Reed & Anissa Reed were constantly going back and forth about her braids in her hair... I just sat over there and laughed all day at those two... I couldn't help it. Anissa would be soooooo mad at him.

Amy Bennett (Wilson) I remember all about Mrs. Scales room and those dinosaur projects and getting into trouble for um "talking".... I was in Mrs. Pearson's 2nd grade and received a box of Valentine candy from Chris Knowles one year. Hey, Chris, what was up with that, then the bra episode in 7th grade?????

Christy Bridges (Pirkle) I stayed in trouble in Mrs.Scales room for talking... I'm surprised daddy didn't kill me... he would always say, "If you can't go to school and learn, at least you can sit up there and behave yourself." I can hear him saying that to me today....LOL Miss that man.

Christy Bridges (Pirkle) Amy... I think you and I got into trouble for talking too in Mrs. Scales room... she just had a roudy bunch that year... remember that book she read to us - Andy Buckmans Tin Men and then she had us all make robots.....LOL..that is the one thing I remember besides getting in trouble.
