Of course we were in the same kindergarten class.

For anyone who doesn't know the story.
Christy and I were best friends in kindergarten. I would go to Christy's house and Christy would come to my house. Christy's uncle (her dad's brother) was living with them in midst of a break up. My mother had been divorced from my natural father since I was 1. As my mother would visit with Christy's mom, Christy's uncle took a shine to her. They started dating and married in July, 1976. I then gained my father and the family that I am closer to than any blood relative that I have.

They got married in mama and daddy's house....

Now our kids are extremely close...they are always together doing something.

Michelle - I am doing wonderful today, thanks for asking. I hope you are well.

Everyone - I saw Ken Hodge on Myspace (daughter's account). I sent him a message. He looks good for being out of school for 20 years and seems to be a world traveler. According to his sight, he lives in California.

Mona - Saw you pic at the Biltmore - LOOKIN' GOOD!

Story Time - I had Mrs. Pearson in Second Grade. She was a sweet lady. I think Tommy McQuire was in the class with me, if not we had recess together, but everyday at recess, we played 6 Million Dollar Man. Tommy was the 6 Million Dollar man, and we were all the bad guys. He would chase us around the playground and all over the domed shaped monkey bars just outside of Mrs. Beard Piano Lesson trailer. We had a ball. Thanks Tommy

Well.. I have recently got a myspace myself because my cousin is in the military and she told me to set one up so she could correspond with me and my other cousins... she just got back from Iraq and is now stationed in Korea for a year.

You know those myspace accounts would have gotten us in trouble ... our parents would have known more than we wanted them to know....LOL. I know I checkout who my kids are talking to.....LOL.

I remember playing "Alligator" in that big ditch on the playground... who remembers? One person would be inside the ditch as the alligator and everyone else would be lined up on the edge and run through without being tagged... if you were tagged, you became the "Alligator"

I think our whole class got in trouble for talking to much. Remember how we always won pep rallies until senior year.

Alligator was the bomb or "the fire" as I have been instructed as the new cool thing to say.

Question for everyone - In elementary school, who all has fallen down the big hill as you exited to the playground?

I know that I did more than once, I still have scars from that hill!

Tammie Wheeler (Kennedy)

I didn't fall down the big hill!

I fell off of the monkey bars one time. I saw stars.
I had really long hair back then. I used to lay on the merry go round thing and let my hair drag in the dirt. When I washed my hair that night the water was muddy.

Didn't fall that I remember, but I do remember being mad at Leslie and pulling her terry cloth britches down to her ankles, outside on that hill.....
