Sharon and I were friends during high school. We both went our separate ways after graduation, but I still have fond memories of our friendship. So many of our classmates have passed. Reading these obits are a part of retirement that is not enjoyable.

Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was so soft-spoken and kind. She always had a smile. It is difficult to watch our friends pass on.

Bob and Charlotte, Thank you both so much for all your hard work in hosting the 3rd of July "fireworks" party for us. It was a great time in spite of the rain just as the fireworks started. Don and I really enjoyed it. I want to apologize once more for not helping with set up and clean up. This knee operation has caused a lot of pain this summer, but hopefully it will be worth it soon.
