After Graduation I went to UGA & played football for a year until the academic dean decided that I needed to go home and let everyone else catch up, LOL! Came back to Calhoun in 1979 and packed up my 1969 Volkswagon and my pet rat named "Dog" and headed out to Yellowstone Nat'l Park in Montana where I lived and worked for the next three years. I got married in 1983, went back to Yellowstone Nat'l Park for one year then moved back to Dalton where my two beautiful daughters were born in 1985 & 1988. I moved back to Calhoun in 1997 & got divorced in 2001. I remarried in 2003 to Kippy Holsomback and inherited two wonderful step daughters, Mandi & Meaghan. Mandi is a graduate of UGA with a Masters of Accounting degree. She is married and lives in Greenville, SC with her husband Eric. Meaghan is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a bachelors degree in Business Mgmnt. and she is married and lives in Warner Robins, GA with her husband Ricky and their eight month old baby girl Riley Jo. Candace graduated from cosmetology school at Floyd College. She is also married and lives in Calhoun with her husband Robert and their 4 year old little boy Corbin. My youngest daughter, Leigh, is currently enrolled as a sophomore at Ga. College and State University in Milledgeville, GA. She attended her Freshman year of college at Young Harris in Blairesville. Leigh will also be going to Yellowstone Nat'l Park this summer to work.I just hope she comes back home!!! So, since 1978 I've been married twice, divorced once, I have four daughters & two grandchildren. After three degrees, three weddings and still paying for one still in shcool, I have NO MONEY!!! SO, that's the last 30 years in a nutshell for me. Kippy & I live in Calhoun.
